Basic Leather Checkbook Cover by Classic Leathers. The cover is quality constructed of genuine full grain crunch leather. It has two compartments for currency or receipts and an attached plastic piece for duplicate checks. Works well with both regular and side entry type checks. In addition there are removable plastic card windows, which hold credit cards and pictures. Outstanding value, department store price is $15-20. Although this is a nice leather check book cover, the plastic flap that goes between duplicate checks is short and doesn't cover all the writing area of the checks. Since I use duplicates, it's annoying and I've had to cut a piece of cardboard to use it in order to use my checks the way they are intended to be used. Of course, with a loose piece of cardboard, the cardboard falls out, gets lost, etc. I bought this specific leather cover since it was supposed to accommodate duplicate checks. Unfortunately, it doesn't do the job. If you don't use duplicates, you will like this product, but skip it if you use duplicates.

This cover is department-store quality all the way! Though I purchased it months ago, it still has its wonderful leather aroma.
I don't coddle my accessories. After much handling and frequent use, this checkbook cover still looks new. One of my reasons for frequently handling it is because I love the way it feels! The leather is gloriously soft and smooth.
Paul & Taylor did an excellent job with this product. I will be buying more from them in the future.
