4 out of 5 stars This is a great little card holder...   June 19, 2010

If you carry enough cards to fill all the slots, this is not going to be a "slim" wallet. I did that and while it is a little "puffy" it is far from "fat". It is still thinner than my old tri-fold. It had a decorator belt loop thing and it was the croc-o leather stuff. It was small but this wallet does not have any chunky embellishments on the outside (and it had only 6 pockets to put cards and 1 "pull out" ID card holder). This wallet does not have a change compartment. It is simply to hold 9 cards, 1 driver's, and maybe a couple of bills. If you force more cards...it gets even thicker. But that is expected. The only way to make this really slim would be removing the middle section. Doing this removes the driver's and 3 cards section...not the result I would want/need. I like the snaps. They do add to the size too. Again, not a big deal for my needs. This wallet fits in my smallest purse that I use for church. When filled (with 1 card per slot ONLY) the size is: 1" (narrower toward the spine) thick. My older wallet was almost 2" because of the thick & embellished leather. The leather is very soft. It does not feel "cheap". I'm lowering my rating only because of the lack of color choice. I know Buxton does many more colors on their wallets. This one should be included in a nice rainbow of colors other than the usual pink, black, and red. How about blue...not navy, but a bright blue? Orange? A pretty green? It is marketed as a case for women yet it hangs onto the manly colors? (well, except pink, but still) The color choice did not deter me from this purchase nor did it compel me to return it.

So if you are looking for a card keeper without a lot of "noise" (embellishments, multi-purpose pockets, etc), holds a nice amount of cards, this is a great little wallet. If you think it will remain 1/2" thick while filled with cards, this is not it. With its very simple/unembellished design this is a card holder that I would think a man could use as well.

I was super excited to get a new wallet that would keep my cards organized, yet be slim and easy to put in my pocket. I was really disappointed when I loaded this wallet up and it was super fat. With only one card in each slot, it was nearly an inch thick on the snap side. It could squish down thinner, but the snap setup makes this impossible. I would love it if it had a zipper closure instead. Oh well, the search continues.

4 out of 5 stars Good little card case!   April 11, 2010

I use this not only for a card case but also as a billfold. I like the slot on the outside where you can stash a card that you're going to need frequently during your shopping trip--for example, a Sam's club card that you need to show when you enter the store and also when you purchase your groceries. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the color selection was limited--I would have preferred a pink or beige but my only choice at the time of purchase was black or red. I chose the red because it's easier to see inside my purse.

This case is great for holding all my IDs, credit cards, insurance cards, etc. Made well. Now when I want a credit card, I just have to pull out this, not a whole wallet and worry about my money falling out. It's organized well too. Cards are easily seen and retrieved.

This wallet holds all of my cards nicely and snaps closed for ease of use. Sturdy leather exterior and made to last.
