nice wallet, but short life span December 25, 2009

I bought this wallet for my husband. He loved it but after about 6 months the chain ripped off. It has been downhill since then. The seams are coming loose and it's falling apart. It was nice while it lasted :(

I liked this wallet because it didn't have snaps and good chain length and clip. But only after 2 weeks the bottom and center view slot ripped apart. Not sure if this is normal or not but I'll be using electrical tape on until I get new one of another brand.

This wallet smells so bad that it gave me a headache within seconds after opening the envelope. I don't know what the issue is, perhaps the glue used to attach the nylon to the leather, but even now after I've had it for a few days I can't stand to have it out of my pocket for more than a few seconds because of the unbearable smell. If this lasts for another week I'll be buying a different wallet.

I had been looking for a chain wallet after losing my wallet twice in two years. I wanted one that was relatively classy looking and didnt make me look like I needed to be in a biker gang to have it. This wallet definitely fits the bill. The leather is surprisingly good quality and still is not scratched almost a month after using it. The wallet is spacious and can hold at least six cards. I really like the fact that my drivers license is viewable without having to take it out of my wallet. I just show it to bartenders without having to fiddle with my license while drunk. It works out well! You can even remove the chain if you plan on going to some sort of event or function where it might look a bit inappropriate to have a chain wallet. My only complaints are that the chain is a bit short, the Dickies logo is kind of large and the wallet is made in China. Other than that I would recommend this wallet to anyone looking for a chain wallet based on style, function and price.
