I looked at many all-metal clips before deciding on this Bosca. Besides the nice feel of leather (mine is black) I'd rather have a clip in my pocket that's not likely to poke me or scratch other items I might carry. I'm very happy I chose this clip and quite surprised to be the first to review it.
It arrived in a classy red and gold box enclosed by another sleeve. The red box lid has nice foil-like gold print with the Bosca seal. It really gives the impression you just got a nice gift.
The clip is very light and only 3/8" thick. It has nice even stitching on the smooth, fine leather with a slightly padded feel to the front and back. The edges are perfectly smooth; excellent craftmanship.
Don't worry about your cash falling out of this clip, it holds cash/cards like a vise. Those magnets can snap together so hard you'll be sure to keep fingers out of the way. With cash/cards inside you spread the clip apart by holding one end of the clip while pushing the cash/cards away from it. It will securely hold at least 15 bills or 5 cards. Ten bills w/2 cards fit nice and secure.
I am so pleased with my clip I will certainly by more as inexpensive but quality gifts for friends.
