Alas - my favorite wallet is gone March 11, 2008 Duane M. Loose (Los Angeles) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a high quality product, as one would expect from Eagle Creek. I have owned 2 wallets from them. My current one being over 5 years old and in need of replacement...so I scoured the internet to find it. Alas this was the only version that appeared close to mine...so I bought it. It doesn't hold as many cards, is missing the little zippered sections for hiding big bills or special cards and is smaller yet fatter than my old one. Makes it hard to close and Velcro and it became a lump in my back pocket instead of the "contour hugging" form of my old one. Not as good a design in my opinion. Why do products have to change when the old designs work just fine?
Eagle Creek slim wallet February 11, 2008 Darcy Dorwart The Eagle Creek slim wallet is a very nice, compact wallet. It has very stiff Velcro, but it is very secure, also. Has plenty of room for cards, but doesn't give you a big lump to sit on in your pocket.
Very nice compact wallet February 2, 2008 Buying Time (S.F. East Bay, CA USA) This wallet is a convenient compact size (helped by the Velcro closure), with nice features like a hidden flap to hide additional dollar bills and a zippered pouch. My one complaint is the zippered pouch has a small opening near the zipper closure, so if you are trying to keep something very small safe & secure it may not do it. That's disappointing since my old Eagle Creek wallet had a pouch that zipped completely shut and would not let anything out. Still it is much better than relying on your pocket or a standard leather wallet with no pouch. One other thing to keep in mind is the Velcro is a bit loud when opening the wallet. I suspect over time it will quiet down as the Velcro gets worn.
