Fantastic all-purpose bag, high quality leather August 22, 2008

I have carried a fanny pack instead of a purse to keep my hands free since my (now 20 year old) son was a toddler. I paid over $130 for my first high-quality leather pack. I found the Piel pack at a leather shop years later when trying to replace the first, rather tattered, one. I've owned four of the Piel packs since. The three pockets (one in the back), dual metal zip and arrangement and size of the pockets are perfect for everything I carry, and they LAST. They are usually scratched, stained, and unsightly, not worn, when I replace them (2-3 years with no maintenance). The inside pockets are cloth and have never failed, zippers are plastic or nylon, but pulls are metal, they have also never failed, neither has the stitching or smooth leather. Perfect for the traveler to keep essentials handy, I've only had it counted as my "3rd" bag once while boarding the plane, and I travel a LOT. I'm buying one in each color this trip.
